I live in Australia …
I live in Australia and I buy from Betterworld all the time. I don’t mind buying 2nd hand books (they are so cheap) and the postage charge is much, much cheaper than Amazon. I don’t buy from them ever anymore!. $3.97 for overseas shipping is an absolute bargain, and I get them in about 2 weeks which is reasonable.

i have been buying …
i have been buying for a good while now…i live in korea so they are a godsend..3.48 cents postage…otherwise i just couldnt afford books..i go there first…and often…it feels good that the money goes to a good cause…win win

One time I was in a …
One time I was in a library bookstore in Brownsville, Texas, and got a copy of the bestselling true crime book of all time, “Helter Skelter” by Vincent Bugliosi, hardbound, for 50 cents. They were getting rid of it and I checked the card catalog and there was no replacement copy. There’s so much heat and humidity and limited storage space, so all these books were just going to the landfill.

Sometimes they have a “Bargain Bin 5 books for $15″ sale and that includes shipping! All of the books I have gotten from them have been good, as long as you choose books rated Good or Very Good.
