The box has 4 paperbook books in them. I am needing this for e-bay as I don’t have a scale at home.

This can’t be answered without more information. It depends on the size of the books (length, width and thickness).

I have heavy paperback books that are 8.5" width, 11" length, 2" thick, that weigh 2 pound and. I have other paperback books that are 2.5" width, 6" length, 1/8" thick that weigh 2 ounces.

You could place the books in the box and keep it open, then take it to the post office where they will weigh it.
