    Here’s a slide show I created using vintage paperback crime novels from the Fifties and Sixties to the sounds of 101 Strings. Most of the covers were painted by the brilliant Robert McGinnis, who always made his women look simultaneously deadly and sexy.

      McGinnis is the greatest illustrator of this century.The original James Bond Artist….paints landscapes like the great Andrew Wyeth….and put the image of the intelligent sexy woman on the map of America.He’s the ART ICON of our time,nothing short of genius.
