I recently finished a set of books in the past day or so, and now I am looking for something new to read.
I just finished the 4 sets of Dan Brown books, and was looking for another author along the same lines as him to read. I know his writing is a bit…"controversial" but I tend to like it.
Is there somebody else that could be along those lines?
Thank you for your help.
I always choose BA.

I’m going to take a stand & not recommend books any more (although I would have said a personal favorite author is Daniel Silva). Dozens of these questions for recommendation show up each day. Many people even give a synopsys taking the guess work out about the subject matter. Yet it is rare that one Asker has the common decency to award Best Answer or say thanks. They make a list & the answers go to the Undecided Limbo category. How about common courtesy for a change?

"Foucault’s Pendulum" and "The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco are two works of fiction concerned with esoteric subjects similar to Dan Brown’s work, but actually are well written and meticulously researched, unlike Brown’s fiction.
