My favorite verse: ...
My favorite verse:
Remember: that giants sleep too soundly; that
witches are often betrayed by their appetites;
dragons have one soft spot, somewhere, always;
hearts can be well-hidden,
and you betray them with your tongue.

Who woulda thunk ole NG could be so despised?

Suppose those who drag themselves up from mediocrity are destined to attract such pedestrian detractors.

Thank you Neil, Scientologist or not the Sandman comics brought me laughter and tears, and what more could the world want from a storyteller.

Whilst your comment ...
Whilst your comment is profound, it lacks any insight or research whatsoever. Not least that we use Sterling in the UK, not dollars...

Neil's father was, yes, a prominent Scientologist. Neil on the other hand has never mentioned it and there is little evidence to support your claim. It is believed that Gaiman was once SP (1983), but that was 26 years ago and not even quoted as fact - it's more likely to be his father.

Your brain is for using. Use it next time.

Is that their ...
Is that their tagline?

SCIENTOLOGY!

Like - elves is a load of bollocks...

"Trust Mr Gaiman, believe Mr Pratchett, put your faith in the wench with the axe -
'People, we really should face it -
"Fantasy weathers much better than facts!"

Scientology is a ...
Scientology is a cult formed by L Ron Hubbard to win a bet with a fellow science fiction writer - one of them wrote a kickass novel, the other relied on people's gullibility - first to a million dollars won.

Kinda wish mankind had gone with the kickass novel, but there you go.

no matter what ...
no matter what opposing "facts" presebted, i refuse to believe that a person capable of such lingual beauty and melodious story-telling is some evil douchebag.
he is not.
he creates worlds colorful yet sinister filled with twisted ill-willers and naive bravers and i adore him for it.
