What are good science fiction books to read for someone who want to start reading them so nothing that complicated so more character based than hard science thanks in advance.

Cory Doctorow wrote Little Brother. It is not hard science. It is free since he believes in Creative Commons.

Baen Books allows some of their older books free.

What is a good website for buying new or used books cheap?

I want to find good books that have been released in the last 3 years or so for $7 or less. And if there’s a shipping price it should be low too. I don’t care if the books are new or used. I don’t want text books either.

Amazon.com. Shipping is about 3.99 per book, so it can add up if you buy it from retailers. If you use Amazon as the retailer then shipping is free for orders over $25. I’ve bought some really cheap new books. I don’t buy used books from there, but I know sometimes the used books will be more than the new books.

I’m in 9th grade right now, and I am very intrigued by mythical creatures and fantasy type of fiction books, as I’m catching up on the Percy Jackson and Vampire’s Assistant books at the moment. Could anyone recomend a storyline that is atleast 2 or more books as in the main first one, then a certain amount of sequels to that story.

I’ve been married for 5 years. when we first got married sex was good and frequent. now, its once every month or two and it sucks. im looking for anything that will help but it must have Christian influence books for me,her or both of us… ANYTHING!

have you heard of "Fireproof" or "the love challenge?" Those are both excellent tools/movies/books to get you through these times. One of the most amazing things about "the love challenge" is that is asks for each couple to find something nice to say or do for the other EVERY single day. It forces you not to focus on the negative but to put the light back on the good. It also reminds you that God must be in your marriage if you want it to survive and sustain. I’m looking for any christian books at little or no charge can anyone help?
We had a school shooting here and 1 person was killed and 1 injured I’d like to pass out bibles or devotioals anything like that to the students, teachers, parents and community.

Advertise that you are having a Christian Book Burning and you will get hundreds at no cost at all. Of course, you will have to burn some of them because you advertised it that way and some folks are going to want to dance around the bonfire. Some will even want to dance naked and you know what kind of crowd that will bring out. You are good with that, right?

C++ just went through a major revision, and as far as I know, there are no books yet covering the changes. So I would argue that there aren’t any up to date books on C++.
