Strobel is a BORN …
Strobel is a BORN LIAR. He says when he “investigated christianity” (which HAD to be early 80s at the LATEST–he was a pastor by 87), he investigated the fine tuning argument and the complexity of cells.
But the fine tuning argument was only initially MADE as early as the early 90s, and the complexity of cells as design argument was mostly put out initially by Behe in 96.
I conclude: Strobel can’t HELP HIMSELF by lying about almost EVERYTHING.

@mrw21 Those aren’t …
@mrw21 Those aren’t atheists then, they’d be deluded fools with weak minds trying to find a substitute for religion. A real atheist shouldn’t “believe” in anything. They should accept facts as facts that don’t require belief.
As for faith, I have faith in myself, and that’s all anyone should need. If you don’t have that much you’ll always be a sycophant.

why….. I would …
why….. I would have believed that if i lived 2,000 years ago. Great argument! FACT!

Zeus says otherwise …
Zeus says otherwise. It is a fact that Zeus will strike such as you with cancer of the eyes and lightning bolts for your heresy.
Unless you can prove any of your heathen piffle, in which case, Zeus will send you a muffin basket and free tickets to Wrestlemania.
What gives your claims any more authority than mine?

There’s hope for …
There’s hope for you in both evolution and hinduism dear Slugg. You can advance. Perhaps by some random mutation you’ll learn manners or die and reincarnate as something a bit less Slugg-like. Until then, you may be a bit slimey but I like ya. Be blessed.

I find it …
I find it interesting how people like you seem to enjoy strawmaning atheists in order to justify your bigotry.
Not suprising from your ilk.
January 20th, 2010 at 1:54 am
Fuck you and your …
you and your wicked religious non sense!

I hear a lot of …
I hear a lot of theists claim that “believing” in reason and science is, itself, a form of faith – that in many ways, it is no different than having faith in a god. But when they make the cosmological argument, they put a great deal of faith in science’s conclusion that the universe seemed to have had a beginning.

It is a fact that …
It is a fact that Xenu blew up our souls with an H-bomb loaded volcano. It is a fact that Mohammed was a prophet of God. It is a fact that Joseph Smith is too.
Strange how quickly these “facts” turn into “things people only believe because they were brought up believing them” for every other religion, yet you can be so certain that you are not similarly misguided.

Natural selection …
Natural selection is also nothing more than a natural process, it has no more moral authority than other natural processes like, say, tooth decay. I’m quite free to adopt children, give to charity, use contraception, go skydiving, or any of various other things that don’t exactly help spread copies of my genetic code around.
Atheism does not claim any moral authority or guidelines, that’s what philosophy is for. I enjoy being nice to people, and that’s good enough for me.

Haa, haa- you sir …
Haa, haa- you sir are deluded.

It is a fact that …
It is a fact that God created the heavens and earth. It is a fact that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. It is a fact that He arose from the dead after paying the price for our sins by vicarious sacrifice. It is a fact that there is a literal heaven and a literal that will last for eternity. It is a fact that only by faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and confession of His Lordship can one be saved from eternal damnation. These are facts and you must choose or be eternally lost.

I really like how …
I really like how they felt they needed four fairy tail believers to gang up on one atheist.
Apparently they had heard, Hitchens is the man!

I concede. You’re …
I concede. You’re far too eloquent for me.
Happy hating

“against your …
“against your supposed religion”
Your knowledge of my “supposed religion” is an ignorant warped version no doubt taught to you by the university of comedy central from where you attained your education.
“consenting adults having a discussion”
Hilarious. I would love to see you zero in on the vast majority of vile atheists on Youtube before bothering with little ol’ me. More crocodile tears, I love it.
January 20th, 2010 at 1:54 am
If you don’t like …
If you don’t like it, don’t listen. Don’t get involved at all. To do so, especially in the way you have so far, goes so far against your supposed religion that you really are embarrassing yourself.
This is a group of mutually consenting adults in the 21st Century having a discussion. If all this makes you ‘hate’ so much then you really miss the point, otherwise you wouldn’t give a shit….because God is true (to you)….so you wouldn’t have to prove a bunch of atheists he exists
January 20th, 2010 at 1:54 am
Also, I do find it …
Also, I do find it terrible the way the bible says it will end. I only brought up the whooping because you seemed so perplexed when I simply confront bullies on here because you seem to think Christians should take the abuse.
January 20th, 2010 at 1:54 am
Please, spare me …
Please, spare me your crocodile atheist tears. What do you care about other people unless they benefit your quest of the survival of the fittest? You’re not being the best atheist you can be. Atheism, like Satanism, is a philosophy based on self, which is the antithesis of Christ whose philosophy is to sacrifice yourself for your brother out of love and to do unto others (FIRST) as you would have done unto you.

“God coming to open …
“God coming to open the biggest can of whoop you’ve ever dreamed of on his enemies. ” – you sound more interested in other peoples demise under the wrath of God than loving your neighbour (and enemies) which you certainly do not. God changes his mind all the time though (the perfect being that he is) so he may waiver the fact that you are vulgar person and let you off.
