Check out the Dobsen books in another post. Another good book that sounds like exactly what your looking for is called "Every Man’s Battle: Winning the War on Sexual Temptation One Victory at a Time (The Every Man Series) (Paperback)

I do have to say that books are not everything, make sure he has some kind of dialog going with some man that he can talk to.

I think you should let your son know all this information even if you think he shouldn’t have sex until he’s married. By all means tell your son that abstinence is the best policy (and the ONLY way to be sure of avoiding STDs and pregnancy), but don’t think that not giving him safe sex information will keep him from acting on his sexual feelings.

He needs to know, on top of the basic information about voice changes and growth spurts, that his feelings are normal, that masturbating is harmless as long as it’s done in private, and that you won’t tell him he’s going to hell for feelings he can’t help. If you try to shame your child into following your morals or hide things from him to get him to do so, he will resent you and not trust you.

There probably are, but kids’ bodies don’t know what religion they are. The best source of info is http://www.kidshealth.org. It even has a section for parents.

you CAN teach your child abstinence is the way to go. and you can teach him about STDs and protection too. their is NO reason that he cannot know the dangers of having s_x before marriage. by all means teach him that abstinence is the ONLY RIGHT thing to do.

as far as Christian books go… look into a book from BJU press. Bob Jones University is one of the nation’s largest Christian school’s. they have thousands of books on all kinds of subjects and they probably have one on this too.

Puberty is scientific, it has a scientific explanation, puberty has nothing to do with religion.

Also if you are just teaching your son about abstinance then you arent teaching him about protection and thats just dumb.

leave religion out of it, its not real anyways.

Your best bet is for you to be the one to tell him. For questions you don’t know, I suggest where I send kids looking for good information, http://www.scarleteen.com and http://www.sexetc.org.

You may not want to hear this, but hear me out. You may want to use the secular books you found already too, to use to say "This is what some people believe. I believe things a bit differently…" and explain your position.

That way when he’s out in the world, it won’t all seem new and more attractive because it’s totally unfamiliar. If you raise a kid TOO insulated from the world, it’ll be like a savage mugging when he’s exposed to it on his own. I’ve seen it a lot. A little information now can prevent a heck of a catastrophe down the line.

And make it clear that masturbation can be a minor sin at worst, while an unplanned pregnancy is a big one. I’ve known kids who were taught they were THE SAME sort of offense, so they just went ahead and became parents at 14. Trust me on this one.

I would stop trying to find the book. you need to talk to him yourself because he will feel comfortable talking to you about sex and that will decrease the chance of him inpregnating anyone because he would be curious otherwise so he would go out and have sex . That will help him so he doesn't even want to have sex until he is 18.
