  • Any good christian books on girls dating?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under christian books | 11 Comments »

I am just looking for an inspirational book on the ups and downs of dating in a Christian manner. Or any other book inspirational or just really good for Christian teens? Please put book title and author so I have a chance of finding it. Thanks!

Dating Mr. Darcy by Sarah Arthur

Any girl who’s seen Pride & Prejudice or read Jane Austen knows that the much misunderstood Mr. Darcy is the ideal gentleman. But is it possible to find your own Mr. Darcy in today’s world of geeks and goons? With smart tips, spiritual insights, and discussions of Jane Austen’s popular stories and movies, best-selling author Sarah Arthur equips young women to gauge a guy’s Darcy Potential (DP) according to his relationships with family, friends, and God.

Before You Meet Prince Charming by Sarah Mally

Support your daughter in her efforts to live her teen years with Christlike purity—without preaching a sermon! Recommended by Gregg Harris as "delightfully humorous" and "helpful," Mally’s allegorical tale of a puzzled princess is a girl-to-girl narrative that features discussion questions, illustrations, memory verses, and suggestions for further reading. 259 pages, softcover from Tomorrow’s Forefathers.

    Boyland by Andrea Stephens

Description: B.A.B.E.s, pack your bags and pick up your passports–you’re about to take a trip to a truly exotic place called Boyland. It’s definitely foreign territory, but this ultimate guidebook will help you get to know the natives, learn to communicate in a way they’ll understand, and get a glimpse into why they do what they do. Inside you’ll find out:
What’s really going on the inner workings of the boy brain
Why personality and body language are important
What they’re really saying and how to translate
Why being "only friends" is totally cool
And that’s not all. You’ll also find quizzes, quotes from Boylanders, interviews with experts, cool conversation starters, and more! If you’re looking for tons of advice on every teen girl’s favorite topic, grab this book and head out with confidence. As a beautiful, accepted, blessed and eternally significant B.A.B.E., you’re going to have great relationships with guys!

Not sure if this is for teenages, but it is written by an Evangelical Christian. It is called "How to Get a Date Worth Keeping" by Dr. Henry Cloud.

      I enjoyed it.
