I figured that’s why you said that. I think the distinction between hip-hop and rap becomes important at that point. Not that rap can’t have a strong or eloquent message, but more often than not, it doesn’t. Since the song is a satire of the ‘bad’ rap, it’s emulating that pattern.

@ActaSanctorum yes, i realize this full well, but that’s what makes the fact that this song does it so disappointing, there are a few rappers who refuse to fall prey to the fad of over repetition and i was hoping that this would be one of the rappers to do that, this song has a solid rhythm and beat and they could do so much more with this than saying the same line four times in a row before changing the line and singing it to the same tune like so much crap that’s out there today.
