The song is not … The song is not bashing or mocking anything. While the lyrics are funny, this is also about boldness. The girl is not ashamed of God. She is not afraid to take her Bible to school. She’s not afraid of people seeing it. It’s big and she’s not trying to hide it. It’s not implying that you HAVE to have a big Bible to be saved. But because she’s not hiding it, she’s proud of it, and she’s sharing it, you can tell that she is. It’s a serious message worked into an interesting and fun song.

A decent effort … A decent effort from a theist seeking to turn a cultural artifact on its head. I’m an atheist, but that doesn’t mean I think theists shouldn’t be allowed to parody or renegotiate shared cultural spaces.
My only issue is the lack of consistency. The premise of this video is a partiality for “big books,” which would’ve worked if taken figuratively (i.e. big = deep), not literally. Literally, partiality to “big books” suggests an un-Jesus-like fixation on the acquisition of “more stuff.” Too bad.
