Well that irritates me, I have a sony ereader, that’s all it’s called not this one being reviewed, and it is the most unorganized and infuriating piece of technology I have. If anyone gets an E-reader from sony be sure it’s the right kind, otherwise you ma waste a few hundred dollars.

Yes, can we upload any pdf that we already have? Or can it only show ‘licensed’ pdfs? I wouldn’t like to pay for downloading an ebook…

My 505 has saved me a fortune in classic books. A shop will charge £3 for a public domain title which you can download free from the internet. Reading them on a pc is awful, but the ereader is great.

Do not get me wrong..I love books..specialy old ones…but what I am saying that for carrying purposes…it would be nice to take some weight off from students by introducing this in schools….if not well something else more advanced that could hold all needed information but in less space and weight for the students…for simply pleasure reading..of course..nothing like a book…but we must use tech..and introduce it where it is needed.

I think this is the future for reading most books.
I am somewhat dependent on seeing color pictures with genuine representation for some of the studing i do – like pictures of different dysphories. Also I would like to take notes or make comments to the text. When you have several books that weight like heavy cargo it woud be great to have a product like this.

I’ll buy a product like this when it has a left and right screen, where one screen can be used for reference. e.g. for a technical book, you could view a diagram from one page while reading the text from another. I also hear that this re-sizes all pages to fit the screen, with no zoom capability. That’s another downer. So product has not yet come of age.
